Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania and roughly 100 km west of Vilnius and Vilnius International Airport (VNO). Traveling by car takes ~1,5 hr.

Public transportation is also available from Vilnius Airport to Kaunas (travel time about 2 hrs.). To get to Kaunas you would have to take the bus or train from Vilnius Airport to the central bus/train station in Vilnius and then the district bus or train to Kaunas. You can purchase tickets online or in place.

You can also check for flight tickets to Kaunas Airport (KUN). Take bus 29 to travel to the Kaunas railway/bus station.

You can also take a taxi. All the recommended hotels are ~2km to ~5km away from Kaunas Bus/Train stations. The fare should be roughly 5-10€. The “Bolt” app is recommended.
